As someone who attaches narrative to almost every creative endeavor, it is natural for Anna Maria to be inspired by folkloric forms, as well as vintage book illustrations. In designing Allegory, she worked with a few favorite pieces from the past that were worth another look. She combined them into new bouquets, floral hearts, houses in the woods, and even penning her own allegories in the "Prose" print. These fabrics can occupy both sophisticated and playful projects for makers of any age.
